Nihuju Trio

Nihuju Trio é composto pela saxofonista Eunice Barbosa, o guitarrista Hugo Portugal e a contrabaixista Juliana Mendonça.  Com a vontade de fazer música juntos e celebrar o jazz da melhor forma, criaram este trio, onde apresentam repertório que se baseia em standards do cancioneiro americano e, por vezes, trabalhando alguns álbuns específicos dos seus heróis do jazz.

Nihuju Trio is composed by the saxophonist Eunice Barbosa, the guitarist Hugo Portugal and the double bassist Juliana Mendonça. With the desire to make music together and celebrate jazz in the best way, they created this trio, where they present a repertoire based on standards from the American songbook and, sometimes, working on specific albums by their jazz heroes.
