Lucibela

Lucibela nasceu em 1986, na ilha de São Nicolau, no barlavento cabo-verdiano.
A sua maestria, potencialidade vocal e interpretava já a colocam entre as grandes vozes da atualidade.

Com o seu primeiro disco, “Laço Umbilical” percorreu o íntimo caminho entre o ser e a terra, interpretando alguns dos mais prestigiados compositores cabo-verdianos num prisma de maturação que a levou rapidamente a alguns dos maiores festivais e salas por todo o mundo.

Lucibela was born in 1986, on the island of São Nicolau, in the windward Cape Verdean region.

Her mastery, vocal potential and performance already place her among the great voices of nowadays.

With her first album, “Laço Umbilical” traveled the intimate path between the being and the earth, interpreting some of the most prestigious Cape Verdean composers in a prism of maturation that quickly took her to some of the biggest festivals and venues around the world.
